About Me

We are the Rich Family. Kodee and I met back in October of 2004 and in December of 2004 we were engaged. April 16, 2005 we were married in the Bountiful Temple. Then in June of 2005 we found out we were expecting a little baby. On February 24 2006 Kolton joined our family. He is an adorable little boy with lots of energy and makes us laugh everyday. On October 27 2009 a little girl joined our family. Her name is Tymberlee Rae. She is a beautiful little girl and Kodee and I are very blessed to have the two children that we do.

Little Shovel Man!

Kolton has been asking everyday if he can go outside to shovel. Really, who likes to shovel? So yesterday I got him all bundled up and we headed out so he could use his new little shovel to clear the snow. He loved it. It was so fun to watch him throw the snow. He didn't want to come inside, and insisted on doing the "parking lot". I had done the "parking lot" earlier so it didn't need to be cleared. But how sweet that my little 3 year old would want to clear it all up. I just love him.

Christmas Fun; a little late...

Kolton and Tymberlee in front of our Christmas Tree. It isn't exactly the way I was hoping to get them to pose, but hey it is so cute anyways.

We did Christmas with Grandpa and Grandma Butterfield (Kodee's parents) the week before Christmas. The kids had so much fun. Grandpa was playing the race track with Kolton and my niece Kambrie. They had so much fun.

We let Kolton open Tymber's presents for her and he was so excited for everything she got. The first one he opened he said in the funniest little voice," Look Tymberlee it is your first present." What a great big brother.

He was so excited to get a race track set. He loves cars. Thanks Grandpa and Grandma for a great Christmas.

Kambrie just loves Tymberlee. She was giving her a kiss, and this is a quick shot of the moment. It was so sweet.

Our veggie dip got a bit shaken up from the fridge to the counter. Granted we did add the pea pod to make a face, but it is pretty funny.

In Kolton's stocking from Grandpa and Grandma he got these roll on soaps. We put him in the bath and just let him go at it, not thinking that he would use the whole thing. But when we went in to check on him this is what we found. It was so funny.

Kolton was so excited that Santa came. He got lots of fun stuff. He got up at about 7:30 when I got up to feed Tymberlee. Before he came out of his room I was thinking that it was going to be great timing. I could get the baby fed and then we could open presents, but he was awake and waiting for us to get up. Then he said, "look mom Santa came. I came out when it was still dark and saw that he came." I asked him why he didn't come and tell us, and he said that it was supposed to be a surprise and so he waited for the light to come on (the sun to come up). How funny. He had gotten out of bed and then went back to bed without touching a thing.

Tymberlee was eating while Kolton was opening his presents and so I didn't get any of her. I should've set her by her stuff to get some pictures, but I didn't, and I am so sad about that. Her first Christmas, and I didn't get any pictures of her. What kind of a mother am I?
All in all though Christmas was fantastic. Kodee got me a stand alone mixer, which I have been wanting. I got him this cool portable digital tv, thinking that it would work for fishing, but it wouldn't even get a signal in our house. Bummer... so I took it back and got him some running shoes and clothes.
